Jammu, Dec 23: High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh will remain closed for the winter vacation with effect from the 6th of January, 2025 to 31st of January, 2025 (both days inclusive). The period commencing from 6th to 11th of January, 2025 shall be No Work Period for the High Court.
Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Tashi Rabstan nominated Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi as Vacation Judge for Jammu wing from January 13, 2025 to 21st of January, 2025, Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal as Vacation Judge for Jammu wing from January 22nd, 2025 to 31st of January, 2025.
Justice Rajesh Sekhri as Vacation Judge for Srinagar wing from January 13, 2025 to 21st of January, 2025, Justice Mohd Yousaf Wani as Vacation Judge for Srinagar wing from January 22nd, 2025 to 31st of January, 2025.
It is also to mention here Winter Vacation for District Courts in Kashmir Wing are from 6th of Jan to 20th of Jan. It is notified for the information of all concerned that the District Courts in Kashmir province and the Courts located in District Kishtwar; District Dada; and Courts at Batote, Gaol, Banihal and Ukhral in District Ramban and Bani in District Kathua of Jammu Division in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir as well as all Courts located in the Union Territory of Ladakh shall observe 15 days winter vacations with effect from 06-01-2025 to 20-01-2025 . (both days inclusive). The Principal District and Sessions Judges and Chief Judicial Magistrates of the concerned Districts shall make the suitable arrangements for disposal of urgent criminal business arising during the period of such vacations in the areas within their respective jurisdictions.
