Kavinder condemns cowardly terror attack in Kulgam
2/3/2025 9:57:34 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 3: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, has strongly condemned the dastardly terrorist attack in Kulgam, in which an ex-Army man was brutally killed, and his wife and daughter were grievously injured. He termed the attack a barbaric act of cowardice, reflecting the desperation of terrorists who are trying to disrupt peace in Jammu & Kashmir.
Lashing out at the enemies of peace, Kavinder said that such heinous attacks will not deter the government's resolve to wipe out terrorism from J&K under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that security forces are working relentlessly to eliminate the last remnants of terrorism from the region, ensuring that no innocent life is lost to such cowardly acts.
"This brutal attack on an ex-serviceman and his family is not just an attack on an individual but on the collective peace and security of Jammu & Kashmir. The BJP government will not tolerate such barbaric acts, and those responsible will face the full force of the law. The Modi government is committed to a terror-free J&K, and our security forces are empowered to deal with these anti-national elements with an iron hand," he asserted.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Kavinder called for strict and decisive action against the perpetrators of the attack. He assured that the BJP remains steadfast in its mission to establish lasting peace and stability in Jammu & Kashmir.
The senior BJP leader also highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, the government has taken historic steps to curb terrorism, dismantle terror networks, and restore normalcy in the Union Territory. He urged citizens to stand united against the nefarious designs of anti-national forces and reaffirmed BJP's zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.
While extending condolences to the bereaved family, Kavinder urged the security forces to intensify their operations against terrorists and their sympathizers. He also called upon the administration to provide the best possible medical aid and financial assistance to the injured victims.
