Youth Power
2/6/2025 10:36:27 PM
Youth with their energy, innovation and progressive mindset have the power to drive a change and uplift society. However, true progress cannot be measured merely by economic growth or technological advancements; it must be inclusive, ensuring that the weaker and vulnerable sections of society actively participate in the development process.
A nation progresses when every citizen, regardless of their social or economic status, has equal opportunities to contribute and thrive.
India, with its diverse socio-economic fabric, has a significant population that faces challenges related to poverty, lack of education, unemployment, and social marginalization.
The youth, as the driving force of the nation, must focus on bridging these gaps by promoting inclusivity and social empowerment.
This requires a conscious effort to uplift underprivileged communities through education, skill development, and employment opportunities. When the youth extend a helping hand to the marginalized, they not only enhance social justice but also strengthen the country’s socio-economic framework.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently emphasized the importance of collective efforts in building a strong and developed India—Viksit Bharat. His initiative, One Nation – One People – One Culture, aims at fostering national unity while respecting the diversity that defines India. The youth must embrace this vision by working collectively towards a common goal: ensuring holistic development that leaves no one behind. The vision of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat is not just about geographical unity but also about economic and social integration, where every citizen has an equal stake in the country’s progress.
Young entrepreneurs, social activists, and professionals must align their work with the larger goal of national development. By focusing on skill development, financial inclusion, and social awareness programs, they can help weaker sections become self-reliant. Government schemes such as Skill India, Start-Up India, and Digital India provide a strong platform for youth-led initiatives aimed at empowering marginalized communities.
The digital revolution in India presents an unprecedented opportunity for youth to bring transformative change. Digital literacy and access to technology can play a crucial role in bridging the socio-economic divide. From promoting online education for underprivileged students to creating digital platforms for rural artisans, the youth can leverage technology to empower vulnerable communities.
The path to a truly Viksit Bharat lies in a collective effort where the youth work together, not just for personal aspirations but for the upliftment of the entire society. It is only through such an inclusive approach that Bharat can emerge as a global leader in development and social justice.
