Jammu, Feb 16: The Shri Ram Universal School proudly hosted their flagship event, "All About India," a vibrant celebration of the country’s rich cultural diversity. The event transformed the school campus into a magnificent representation of India's various states, offering an immersive experience for students, parents, and guests alike.
This annual event, a signature initiative across Shri Ram Schools nationwide, aims to empower students with knowledge about India's heritage, traditions, and regional diversity. Each corner of the school was meticulously adorned with student-created artwork, decorations, mascots and delicacies guided by dedicated teachers, to showcase the uniqueness of each state. The enthusiastic participation of parents further amplified the spirit of collaboration and community engagement.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of DIG Jammu, Mr. Shiv Kumar, as the chief guest. He commended the students and staff for their dedication and creativity in curating an educational and visually captivating experience. Other distinguished guests included Mr. Ajay Sharma, SP South Jammu; Ms. Ekshu Sharma, Assistant Director Handicraft Samba; Mr. Kewal Krishan, CEO Samba; Ms. Shilpa Dubey, DDC Member Vijaypur; Dr. Dinesh Rao, HOD Forensic Medicine AIIMS; and Dr. Rajan Badyal, PRO Central University.
One of the key highlights of the event was the Skit of Maha Kumbh, which beautifully depicted the historical and cultural significance of the Kumbh Mela. Additionally, mesmerizing live stage performances showcased traditional dance forms from different states, captivating the audience and celebrating the nation’s artistic legacy along with a thought provoking natak on drug free India spreading awareness.
Parents and guests lauded the efforts of the students and faculty, expressing their appreciation for the meticulous planning and hard work invested in the event. They acknowledged the school's commitment to fostering cultural awareness and unity among students.
"All About India" not only celebrated India's vibrant heritage but also instilled a deep sense of national pride and belonging among the school community. Shri Ram Schools continue to uphold their mission of holistic education by blending knowledge with experiential learning, making such events a memorable and enriching experience for all.
