Jammu, Feb 23: President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, emphasized the role of the Sikh community in the cultural tapestry of Jammu and Kashmir, saying under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the government is dedicated to ensuring the comprehensive development and progress of the community.
He made these remarks at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Guru Nanak Nagar in Jammu, where he participated in the Gurmat Samagam organized by Sardar Arunpal Singh, Chairman of the Sikh Youth Welfare Association, to commemorate the Prakash Ustav of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, the Tenth Guru of the Sikh Panth.
