| Medical Camp organised by Indian Army | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Feb 27: Upholding its unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of the people, Indian Army organized a Medical Camp at Haribudha in the remote region of Poonch District on 27 Feb 2025. The primary objective of the camp was to offer free medical check-up and distribute essential medicines to the marginalized communities of the area. Many people in this region reside in isolated locations, often inaccessible by road and face severe challenges in accessing quality healthcare, particularly during the harsh winter season.
This medical outreach program, conducted through the camp was a crucial initiative aimed at extending healthcare services to these far-flung communities. Apart from offering free health check-ups the camp also provided vital medicines for common ailments and seasonal diseases. The camp was led by Regimental Medical Officer who meticulously planned the outreach to ensure that medical assistance reached the most remote and needy areas. In addition to addressing immediate health concerns the team also informed the residents about government health schemes, encouraging them to take advantage of available resources.
The heartfelt gratitude of the local populace was visible in their eyes and was further expressed through the blessings of the elders. The community was deeply thankful to the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion of the Indian Army for their continuous support and for spearheading this initiative that has made a meaningful difference in their lives. |
