UDHAMPUR, Feb 28: GDC Neeli Nallah Udhampur organized debate competition regarding the celebration of 75 years of adoption of Constitution. The event emphasizes the significance of the Constitution of India. The students from all semesters along with the staff members of the college took part in the program with zeal and enthusiasm. Speaking on the event, Dr. Seema Arora, Principal of the college said that 75 years of the adoption of the constitution is a milestone that reflects the remarkable journey of our democracy. The constitution serves as the guiding framework shaping the nation's progress and development over the past 75 years. The event aimed to promote the values enshrined in the Constitution, such as justice, equality, liberty and to encourage citizens to uphold these values in their daily life. In debate competition, the students presented their views about the importance of the Indian Constitution in promoting social justice, equality, fraternity and how the constitution has been successful in achieving its goals. This debate competition was organized to encourage critical thinking and analytical skill among students and promote constitutional values. In the end, the Principal appreciated the efforts of the staff members for their hardwork to make the event successful. The event was organized under the convenorship of Dr. Sunil Tanoch. The organizers of the event were Dr. Akhter Hussain and Dr. Mohd Mubariq Mahire.
