| Jammu police, south zone along with SDRF rescued precious human life | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 28: Today at about 5:40 Am an information received at Police station Satwari that one Dumper driver is struck in Niki Tawi area near Shiva stone crusher and whole Dumper is submerged in water due to sudden flash flood and huge rise of water level, the driver is struggling for his life while standing in cabin roof of the said Submerged Dumber.
The incident was reported to senior officers and immediately Rescue operation Rudder was launched by south zone police. Further without wastage of time a police party led by IC PP phallian Mandal Psi Balbir Singh reached the spot, assed the situation, communicated with the person in SOS, gave him assurance that JKP is there to save him, requisitioned the specialised SDRF team of JKP and maintained proper communication with the stranded driver till the arrival of SDRF team. In shorted possible time a team led by ASI Om Parkash of SDRF arrived at the scene. In swift and coordinated manner, displaying professionalism, bravery and commitment Jammu Kashmir police parties of Satwari PS and SDRF successfully rescued the person from the middle of river, details of person are Mohan lal s/o salik Ram r/o om nagar gole gujral. He was given first aid and taken to Phallianmandal police post.
The operation Rudder was supervised by SSP Jammu, SP South, SDPO South and executed by SHO Satwari and IC PL Phallianmandal.
