UDHAMPUR, Feb 28: In its continuous war and firm commitment against drug menace, Chenani Police has arrested a notorious drug peddler, Musharaf alias Ramboo, S/o Mh Arif, R/o Ward No. 4, Chenani. He has been taken into custody under the Preventive Detention provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, as per Order No. PITNDPS 06 of 2025, dated 25.02.2025. The accused has been involved in illegal drug activities, posing a significant threat to the peaceful environment of the region by attempting to lure local youth into drug addiction. It is pertinent to mention that multiple cases have been registered against the said drug peddler for his role in promoting the drug trade by supplying narcotics to the locals of District.
