Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 13: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta emphasized that the dedicated cadre of the party remains its real strength in ensuring victory in the upcoming polls.
He was addressing a meeting of party workers held at the BJP Headquarters in Jammu in view of upcoming political battles in Jammu and Kashmir.
The BJP stalwart asked the party functionaries to work at the grassroots level, connecting with the people and spreading awareness about the vision and achievements of the Modi government. He highlighted that BJP's policies have transformed Jammu and Kashmir, bringing unprecedented development, transparency, and good governance.
"The BJP is not just a political outfit; it is a movement driven by nationalistic fervor and a commitment to public welfare. Every Karyakarta (worker) is the backbone of this mission, and their dedication will ensure a resounding victory in the upcoming elections," he stated.
Kavinder Gupta asked party cadre to counter the misleading propaganda of opposition parties, which have a history of deceiving the public for political gains. He emphasized that these parties, which once ruled Jammu and Kashmir, thrived on corruption, nepotism, and misgovernance, leaving the region in a state of despair. He reminded the workers to educate the people about the dark era of favoritism, lack of transparency, and dynastic politics that hampered progress for decades. He stressed that BJP's commitment to nationalism, development, and good governance must be effectively communicated to ensure voters make an informed choice in the upcoming elections.
Highlighting the achievements of the BJP government, Kavinder stated that Jammu and Kashmir has undergone an unprecedented transformation under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He pointed out remarkable developments in infrastructure, including better roads, highways, and connectivity projects, which have boosted economic growth. The education sector has seen significant reforms, ensuring better facilities and opportunities for youth. Similarly, health services have improved drastically, providing modern medical care to all sections of society. With employment generation at the forefront, various government schemes have empowered the youth, bringing hope and prosperity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, he added.
The former deputy Chief Minister advised BJP workers that their role should not be limited to election campaigns and political activities during poll times but should be a continuous engagement with the people. He urged party cadres to be proactive year-round, addressing public grievances, assisting people with government schemes, and strengthening the party's grassroots presence. He asserted that BJP is a party of the people, and its leaders and workers must always remain accessible, responsive, and committed to the welfare of society. He emphasized the need for BJP workers to be well-informed about government schemes, welfare initiatives, and public policies, so they can effectively guide the masses.
Kavinder Gupta concluded by stating that BJP's strength lies in its dedicated workers, and with their hard work, discipline, and unwavering commitment, the party will continue to serve the nation and lead Jammu and Kashmir towards a brighter future.
