SSP Jammu presides over 'Thana Diwas' at Police Station Domana

JAMMU, Mar 13: Under the leadership of SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh (JKPS), Thana Diwas was observed at Police Station Domana to strengthen police-community relations and address public grievances. The event witnessed the participation of around 200 respected citizens, including sarpanches, panches, senior citizens, and youth representatives.
Senior officers, including SP Rural, SDPO Domana, SHO Domana, and SHO Kanachak, were also present. During the interactive session, citizens actively voiced their concerns and shared suggestions. Key issues discussed included drug abuse, thefts, the need for regular patrolling especially on Muthi Flyover and Ring Road and the importance of frequent police-public meetings. The attendees appreciated this initiative by the police.
Addressing the gathering, SSP Jammu emphasized the importance of community collaboration in crime prevention. He reiterated the police's commitment to tackling drug abuse and thefts and directed officers on the spot to ensure regular and intensified patrolling on Muthi Flyover and Ring Road. He also assured swift action on public grievances and urged citizens to share timely information about criminal activities.
