DBU & DBU Americas Ink MoUs with Mexican University for Global Collaboration

MANDI GOBINDGARH, Apr 6: In a significant stride toward global academic collaboration, Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, along with Desh Bhagat University Americas (DBUA), St. Vincent and the Grenadines, have signed two pivotal Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Centro Universitario Vallarta (CUV), Mexico. The agreements aim to promote student and faculty exchange, twinning programs, and joint research initiatives.
The historic signing ceremony took place on the DBU campus in Mandi Gobindgarh, with Mr. Alfonso Vidales, Member of Parliament, Mexico, and Board of Director at CUV, representing the Mexican institution. Dr. Sandeep Singh, President of both DBU and DBUA, signed the agreements, along with key dignitaries including Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice President, Mr. Arun Malik, Director - International Operations, and Mr. Amit Kukreja, Officer on Special Duty to the President..
During the event, Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, honored Mr. Alfonso Vidales for his instrumental role in fostering international academic cooperation and enhancing Indo-Mexican educational ties.
Dr. Zora Singh emphasized that the MoUs are designed to create a global learning ecosystem, enabling enriched cultural exchanges and collaborative research opportunities among the three institutions.
Reflecting on the partnership, Mr. Alfonso Vidales remarked that "This partnership marks a significant step towards building a stronger academic bridge between Mexico and India. We are excited to offer our students global exposure and collaborative platforms through this association with Desh Bhagat University and DBU Americas."
Dr. Sandeep Singh further remarked, "At Desh Bhagat University and DBU Americas, we are dedicated to creating international pathways that empower our students and faculty. Through shared learning, research excellence, and cultural exchange, we aspire to build global academic networks that resonate well beyond traditional classroom boundaries. This MoU is a milestone in our journey towards achieving that vision.
