JAMMU, Apr 6: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today commemorated the Party's Foundation Day by reflecting on its evolution and accomplishments since its inception.

Tracing the party's roots, Kavinder recalled his early involvement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at the age of thirteen and his subsequent imprisonment during The Emergency, highlighting the party's resilience during challenging times. He emphasized the BJP's transformation from a grassroots movement to a formidable political force, attributing its success to the dedication of its members and its focus on inclusive development.
Kavinder lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that the Central Government's initiatives over the past decade have significantly contributed to India's progress. Kavinder expressed confidence that the populace's support would ensure Modi's third consecutive term as Prime Minister, stating, "People across Jammu and Kashmir, like other parts of the country, are convinced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown real concern for the development and welfare of over 140 crore people of the country."
