RAMGARH, Apr 7: To mark World Health Day 2025, the Department of Physical Education, in collaboration with the NCORD Cell of Government Degree College (GDC), Ramgarh, organized a spirited Table Tennis match aimed at promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and leadership among students. Held under the esteemed guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various semesters. The match not only encouraged students to prioritize health and well-being but also reinforced the value of teamwork and discipline through sports. Principal Prof. Abrol applauded the efforts of Mr. Ashok Kumar (PTI) and Prof. Brham Dutt (Convener, NCORD Cell) for successfully organizing the event. She highlighted the importance of incorporating sports into daily routines, especially on World Health Day, which reminds us of the need to focus on our physical and mental wellness. The match was filled with high energy and competitive spirit. Abhishek Chopra from Semester VI clinched the winner's title, while Rajat, also from Semester VI, and Kanav Chouhan from Semester II secured the first and second runner-up positions, respectively.
