Miran Sahib Police busts bike-lifting gang, arrests 4, recovers 10 stolen two-wheelers

Jammu, Apr 17: In a significant breakthrough, Miran Sahib Police have successfully busted a bike-lifting gang and recovered 10 stolen two-wheelers, including 03 scooties and 07 motorcycles, following a series of thefts in the area. The recovery includes several high-demand motorcycles and scooters that had been reported missing from various locations.
Under the leadership of PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, with support from ASI Pinto Kumar, ASI Fayaz Banday, and IC BPP Nari ASI Balbir Singh, the operation was conducted efficiently. The operation was supervised by SHO Miran Sahib Sh. Jai Paul Sharma and guided by SDPO R.S. Pura and SP Headquarters Jammu.
Four individuals were arrested in connection with the thefts:
1. Inderpal Singh, s/o Janak Singh, resident of Kotli Shahdullah.
2. Rohin Kumar alias Baba, s/o Jagir Singh.
3. Sachan Kumar, s/o Saran Dass, resident of Baggamarh, R.S. Pura.
4. Manshu Kumar, s/o Om Parkash, also from Kotli Shahdullah.
The stolen vehicles recovered include a Hero Splendor motorcycle, Bajaj Platina (registration number JK02CE1292), and several Honda scooties. Two motorcycles were recovered without registration numbers. All vehicles have been verified using their chassis numbers.
The police are now working to identify the rightful owners and return their stolen property. Verification of the vehicle details is underway, and contact is being made with potential owners.
Jammu Police remain determined to clamp down on criminal activities and are continuing their investigation to uncover any further suspects or networks involved in these crimes.
