CSU Jammu to host 3-day leadership workshop | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 30: The Central Sanskrit University (CSU), Jammu, in collaboration with the Ancient School of Wisdom, Bengaluru, is set to host a unique three-day workshop titled "Resolution Through Dialogue" from May 1 to 3, 2025. The event is being held under the visionary guidance of Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Srinivasa Varakhedi and reflects the university's commitment to fostering leadership and innovation within the realm of Sanskrit education. This Teachers-Training model workshop aims to empower selected faculty members from 12 CSU campuses, particularly those who have previously attended leadership programs at esteemed institutions like IITs and IIMs. The initiative marks a significant step in CSU's transformational journey towards building a future-oriented, sustainable, and culturally rooted Sanskrit academic ecosystem. The workshop's goal is to redefine the roles of faculty as institutional leaders while reflecting on past achievements and aligning academic contributions with the vision of nation-building through Sanskrit knowledge systems. Sessions will focus on self-leadership, institutional administration, communication strategies, and the development of a 10-year vision for CSU. Key themes include: Sanskrit's development in India and globally Vision of self in national resurgence Challenges and opportunities in civilizational and modern contexts Creating sustainable Sanskrit careers and institutions Strategic SWOT analysis of the Sanskrit ecosystem The workshop will feature renowned resource persons, including: Prof. Nagaraj Paturi, VC, INDICA H. N. Srinivas, Senior Advisor, Tata Trusts Prof. Nomesh Boliya, Director, Public Systems Lab Satyanarayan Bhatt, General Secretary, Sanskrit Bharati Sai Swaroop Iyar, Asst. Prof., Chanakya University Along with senior scholars from INDICA, Seva Bridge Foundation, and Sanskrit universities The benedictory address will be delivered by His Holiness Abhinava Shankara Bharati Mahaswami, Shankaracharya of Kudali Shringeri Mahasamsthanam. The workshop has been designed under the leadership of Prof. Madan Mohan Jha, Dean Academics, with coordination by Dr. D. Dayanath and Ms. Divyanshi Makol. Participants will also be tasked with disseminating their learnings to peers and organizing localized workshops across their respective campuses, ensuring the broader impact of this transformative initiative. |
