JAMMU, Apr 30: Army Public School Rakhmuthi celebrated its Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm in the school auditorium on April 29, 2025. The event was graced by the honorable Chief Guest, Chairman APS Rakhmuthi, accompanied by his wife and the officiating SO to Chairman.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome by the Principal, Ms. Shaswati Ghosh, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp as a tribute to Goddess Saraswati. The atmosphere was further enlivened by a soulful group song and vibrant dance performances by the students.
A key highlight of the event was the formal investiture of the newly elected Student Council. The Chief Guest conferred badges and sashes to the office bearers, including Head Girl Navya Johal and Head Boy Anmol Sharma of Class 12. Vice Head Girl, Vice Head Boy, and Prefects for Sports, Library, Cultural, and Discipline roles were also inducted. House Captains, both senior and junior, from Gandhi, Nehru, Ambedkar, and Patel houses pledged to carry out their duties with sincerity and integrity.
The ceremony also featured the felicitation of academic achievers by the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the value of co-curricular activities in shaping well-rounded individuals and encouraged students to lead by example.
The Principal concluded the event with a vote of thanks. The ceremony ended with a group photograph and the singing of the National Anthem, marking a proud and memorable day for the school. |
