Farewell to retired officers of JKAP-8th Bn held

JAMMU, Apr 30: A heartwarming farewell ceremony was organized on 30th April 2025 at the Bn. Headquarters of JKAP-8th Bn., Miran Sahib, Jammu, to honor the retiring officers who served with dedication and commitment to the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police. The event was conducted under the overall supervision of Sh. Suram Singh-JKPS, Commandant of JKAP-8th Bn.
The officers who retired after attaining the age of superannuation included:
ASI Madan Lal
ASI Bishan Lal
HC Ram Prasad
HC Sukhvir Singh
HC Chuni Lal
HC Vijay Kumar
Foll Darshan Lal
The ceremony reflected the gratitude and appreciation of the entire unit for the exemplary services rendered by these officers throughout their tenure. The officers and jawans of the Battalion took this opportunity to express their well wishes for the retirees' future endeavors and post-retirement lives.
Sh. Bhupinder Singh, Dy.SP, PA/LO/BHM of JKAP-8th Bn, along with other officers and officials, also participated in the event. On the occasion, welfare gifts amounting to Rs. 1 lakh each were handed over to the retirees as a gesture of appreciation for their distinguished service. The retirees were also honored with flower garlands and mementos.
The farewell event concluded with a warm send-off, with the entire unit wishing the retirees a happy and healthy post-retirement life, acknowledging their continued responsibility towards the department and society.
