Leaders, workers from various parties join NC in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Apr 30: In a significant show of support for the National Conference (NC), several political workers and leaders from different parties, including the Panthers Party, joined the NC at a joining programme held at the party office in Udhampur. The event was organized by senior NC leader Ghulam Hussain Kanth and Mohammad Saleem Malik, Block Secretary Latti.
Among the prominent leaders who joined the NC were Vinod Kumar and Bhushan Kumar from the Panthers Party, along with their supporters. They pledged to work under the banner of the National Conference to strengthen the party at the grassroots and contribute to the welfare of the people.
The joining programme took place in the presence of Sunil Verma, District President NC Udhampur, and Javed Iqbal, Senior Vice President, who welcomed the new entrants into the party fold. Other senior leaders present on the occasion included Gurmeet Singh Josh, Mohammad Rashid (District Secretary), Amar Nath (District President SC Cell), Om Parkash Sanyal and Om Parkash Bhagat (both Block Presidents), Suhail Malik, and several others.
Welcoming the new members, Sunil Verma said, "The trust and confidence shown by leaders from other parties in the vision of the National Conference is a testimony to our commitment to democratic values, inclusive development, and public welfare." He added that the NC is steadily growing stronger in every region and will continue to be a voice for the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
The senior NC Leader said that the present government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to equitable development, good governance, and safeguarding the democratic rights of every citizen. "Under the dynamic leadership of CM Omar Abdullah, the NC-led government has focused on empowering youth, improving infrastructure in remote areas, and maintaining peace and harmony across Jammu & Kashmir," Verma said. He emphasized that the growing support for National Conference is a clear reflection of the people's faith in the party's vision and leadership.
-The programme concluded with a pledge by the new entrants to work with dedication and strengthen the party's presence at the grassroots level.
