GCW Udhampur NCC Cadets Excel at CATC Camp

UDHAMPUR, May 3: The NCC cadets of Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur affiliated with the 1st J&K Girls Battalion NCC Srinagar, have brought laurels to the college with their outstanding performance during the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) held recently under the dynamic command of Colonel S.P. Tiwari.
Held with a focus on holistic cadet development through rigorous training, discipline, and leadership exercises, the camp witnessed active participation from cadets across various institutions.
GCW Udhampur Cadets showcased exceptional discipline and dedication throughout the camp. Several cadets from the college excelled in selection trials and secured positions in prestigious preparatory events including Pre-SNIC (Special National Integration Camp,Pre-RDC,Pre TSC(Thal Sainik Camp)
The cadets were lauded by the Additional Director General (ADG) of NCC Jammu and Kashmir Directorate - Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM for their dedication and conduct.
The Principal of GCW Udhampur Dr.Nalini Pathania also commended the cadets for upholding the institution's legacy of excellence and for being proud ambassadors of the college's NCC unit and congratulated Lt.Prof Rukhsana Kousar for her efforts in grooming cadets in the best possible way.
Their achievements reflect the hard work, perseverance, and commitment instilled through the NCC training framework and are a testament to the vibrant spirit of youth leadership being nurtured at GCW Udhampur.
