KISHTWAR, May 3: In an initiative towards youth empowerment and entrepreneurship development, the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC), under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan, today approved 67 new cases under various components of the Mission Youth initiative. The approvals include 35 cases under the Mumkin Scheme, 08 under Tejaswini and 24 under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative (SEI). These schemes are designed to provide financial aid, skill development, and infrastructure support to youth, promoting self-reliance and employment generation. At the outset, AD Employment Shafqat Ali Keen provided a comprehensive overview of the schemes, highlighting their impact and outreach. The Deputy Commissioner also held one-on-one interaction with beneficiaries availing loans under these programs, assuring them of continuous support and guidance. The DC nominated the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) as the Nodal Officer to initiate a Driving Training Course, enhancing employability under Skill Development Course. Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to the district administration for facilitating access to vital support mechanisms and pledged to utilize the resources effectively for personal and community growth. The meeting was attended by CPO Shahnawaz Bali, AD Employment/FCS&CA Shafqat Ali Keen, ARTO Tasleem Wani, LDM and other concerned stakeholders. |
