Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, May 5: A one-day training program under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban 2.0 was organized today for supervisors and surveyors here at Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur.
The session was formally inaugurated by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh.
Addressing the training programme, the ADDC highlighted that the PMAY-U 2.0 scheme is a flagship initiative aimed at ensuring "Housing for All" by providing all-weather pucca houses to eligible beneficiaries residing in urban areas. He urged the surveyors and supervisors to work with utmost dedication and accuracy while conducting the surveys so that a comprehensive and authentic database of eligible beneficiaries is created.
The District Statistics and Evaluation Officer provided participants with a detailed overview of the various data points in PMAY mobile application to be collected during the household surveys. In addition, he addressed several queries raised by the participants and ensured clarity on technical and procedural aspects of the data collection process.
The training program aimed to build the capacity of field-level functionaries to ensure effective implementation of PMAY-U 2.0 across the district.
