KISHTWAR, May 5: Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) projects being executed in-different parts of the District. At the outset, ExEn PMGSY apprised the Deputy Commissioner of the current status and challenges faced in the execution of the PMGSY projects.
A detailed review was conducted of key road projects including Marwah to Mulwarwan Road, Yurdoo to Qaderna Road, Margan Top Boundary to Mulwarwan Road, Ikhala to Lopara Road, Atholi to Pallali Road, Gahan to Chandali Road, Cherji to Semna Bhata Road, Kuleed to Hullar Road, Palali to Machail Road, Tikkan to Mori Road, Sohal to Chitto Road,Kundal to Affani Road,Kuriya to Keshwan Road, Kandni to Ohli Road and other important Projects.
Seeking details of project status, the Deputy Commissioner asked for the intervention of the State Quality Monitoring Team to conduct quality checks on Margi to Sukhnai Road, and other road projects in the district. Emphasis was laid on close monitoring and completion within a one-year timeframe.
