JAMMU, May 9: The School of Mechanical Engineering (SoME) successfully organized an engaging alumni interaction session featuring two accomplished alumni from the 2018 batch - Ms. Anketa Jandyal, Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Ms. Sonal Bhatia, Executive in Supply Chain at Jindal Stainless Steel Limited.
The event aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by offering students firsthand insights into career development, industry expectations, and essential professional skills. The session proved to be an eye-opener for students aspiring to make their mark in the competitive job market.
Ms. Anketa Jandyal shared her inspiring journey from campus to the corporate world, highlighting the importance of technical proficiency, soft skills, and the need for continuous learning. Meanwhile, Ms. Sonal Bhatia provided an in-depth perspective on the manufacturing and logistics industry.
