JKHCBAJ hosts blood camp to tackle shortage during conflict

JAMMU, May 9: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu successfully organized a blood donation camp today at the District Court Complex, Jammu. This noble initiative was undertaken in response to the urgent need for blood donations amid the ongoing Indo-Pak war situation.
The camp witnessed overwhelming participation from members of the legal fraternity, including Hon'ble Judges of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Judges of District Judiciary, and members of the Bar. Their selfless contribution of blood exemplifies the spirit of solidarity and humanitarian commitment during these challenging times.
The Blood Donation Camp was started with heartfelt participation from esteemed dignitaries including Hon'ble Judges, Justice Sindhu Sharma, Justice Rahul Bharti, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, Justice Rajesh Sekhri, Justice Javed Iqbal Wani, Jusitce Yousuf Wani and Justice Shahzad Azeem, who generously donated blood to support this noble cause. Principal District and Sessions Judge Sh. YP Bourney, along with 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, Ranbir Singh Jasrotia, also honored the event with their presence and contributed by donating blood.
The event witnessed enthusiastic involvement from the office bearers of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu (JKHCBAJ), including Pardeep Majotra (General Secretary), Anshu Mahajan (Joint Secretary), Rahul Aggarwal (Treasurer), Designated Senior Advocates Sh. Sunil Sethi and Sh. Pranav Kohli, as well as numerous senior advocates, female advocates, and young lawyers, all of whom selflessly participated and donated blood.
This remarkable show of solidarity and compassion exemplifies the spirit of service and humanity that binds the legal fraternity and community together. Their collective effort not only aids those in urgent need but also inspires others to contribute to the welfare of society. Such acts of generosity and civic
responsibility deserve our highest appreciation and respect, reflecting the true essence of leadership and empathy.
