Kavinder slams Pakistan for cowardly attacks on civilians
5/9/2025 10:13:40 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 9: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta issued a scathing condemnation of Pakistan's deliberate targeting of civilian areas, calling it a desperate and cowardly attempt to provoke full-scale conflict with India.
"While India has clearly communicated that its operations are focused solely on eliminating terrorist infrastructure, without harming Pakistani civilians or military directly, Pakistan has crossed every line of decency by shelling civilian areas in Poonch and launching fresh strikes last night on army installations and residential zones across multiple Indian states," the BJP stalwart said in a statement issued here today.
Terming these actions as "acts of frustration and fear," Kavinder said Pakistan's military establishment is now resorting to cheap tactics to provoke unrest and panic within India. "This aggression will not go unanswered. Pakistan must immediately stop or be ready to face a powerful and unforgiving response," he warned.
At the same time, Kavinder issued a crucial advisory to Indian citizens: "Never share photos or videos of troop movements, air force deployments, or naval operations. Inadvertent leaks can help the enemy. National security starts with awareness and responsibility."
The former deputy Chief Minister called upon the people to maintain unity, stay composed, and support the armed forces in this critical hour. "Stay calm, stay alert, and help others do the same. Together, we are undefeatable. Jai Hind!"
