UDHAMPUR, May 13: In a major step to curb criminal activities in the District Udhampur, Police have booked and detained one more habitual bovine smuggler under the J&K Public Safety Act (PSA) for his notorious activities in bovine smuggling on the detention orders issued by the District Magistrate Udhampur.
The accused namely Rashid S/O Ibrahim R/O Bupp, Sarar, Chenani and stands booked in a number of bovine cases registered in the District. He has become a threat to the peaceful atmosphere in the district, this warranting authorities to detain him under Public Safety Act. |
