PM Modi’s surprise Adampur visit exposes Pak’s false claims on S-400, airbase attack
‘Operation Sindoor’

Early Times Report

Jammu, May 13: In a bold move to counter Pakistan’s propaganda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an unannounced visit to the Adampur airbase in Punjab, effectively dismantling Islamabad’s claims of crippling the strategic military hub during the recent Operation Sindoor.
Pakistan had asserted that its JF-17 missiles and drones obliterated the runway, S-400 air defense system, radar, and aircraft at Adampur, while also claiming 60 personnel were killed and the base rendered inoperable for years. Modi’s visit, accompanied by high-
resolution images of the fully operational airbase, has exposed these claims as baseless.
The Adampur airbase, a key facility housing MiG-29 and Su-30 MKI fighter jets, was allegedly targeted by Pakistan, which claimed its drones and missiles destroyed critical infrastructure, including the S-400 air defense system deployed here in 2022. However, visuals from Modi’s visit show an intact runway, operational aircraft, and no signs of damage

to the S-400 unit or radar systems. Military experts have hailed the visit as a “masterclass in real-time fact-checking,” showcasing India’s resilience and operational readiness.
Pakistan’s claims hark back to historical precedents, notably during the 1965 Indo-Pak war when the Adampur runway was targeted. Islamabad’s recent narrative of destruction, including exaggerated casualty figures and assertions of long-term incapacitation, has been categorically debunked. “The Prime Minister’s presence at Adampur sends a clear message: Pakistan’s lies hold no ground against India’s strength,” said a defense analyst.
PM Modi’s strategic visit not only reaffirmed the airbase’s functionality but also underscored the effectiveness of India’s advanced defense systems, including the S-400, which remains a cornerstone of the nation’s air defense network. The move has been widely praised as a decisive rebuttal to Pakistan’s misinformation campaign, reinforcing India’s military and diplomatic resolve.
