Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 13: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, today strongly endorsed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's firm stand against terrorism and Pakistan's double standards, declaring that "Terror and Trade cannot go together."
Reacting to the PM's historic address following the success of Operation Sindoor, the BJP stalwart said the message from New Delhi is loud and clear - India will not tolerate terrorism in any form, and any nation that harbours terrorists will face the consequences.
"The Prime Minister has unmasked Pakistan before the world. It is not just a sponsor of terrorism, but a victim of its own poisonous policies. The terrorists it nurtured are now swallowing its foundations. India's response has changed - it is bold, precise and resolute," he said while chairing a meeting of Party colleagues at BJP Headquarters in Jammu. Prominent among those who were present in the meeting including, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Parduman Singh, Gopal Mahajan, Veenu Khanna, Ved Parkash Sharma, Sunil Prajapati and Puneet Mahajan.
The former Deputy Chief Minister has praised PM Modi for outlining a "new normal" in India's counter-terrorism approach No dialogue or trade with terror sponsors; No tolerance for nuclear blackmail and no distinction between terrorists and those who support them.
Kavinder noted that the destruction of terror camps during Operation Sindoor and the neutralization of over 100 dreaded terrorists demonstrated India's military superiority and strategic clarity. "Pakistan's nuclear threats are now ineffective. We've shown the world that India will act decisively on its own terms. The airbases of the enemy were dismantled, and their so-called infrastructure of terror lies in ruins," he added.
Kavinder said, "Peace cannot be achieved through submission, but through strength and clarity. PM Modi has shown the way - if Pakistan wants to survive, it must dismantle its terror infrastructure completely. There is no space for talks or trade under the shadow of terror."
