SRINAGAR, May 16: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Srinagar, organized an awareness programme on the Protection of Women from Sexual Harassment at Workplace (POSH) Act at the ADR Centre, District Court Complex Srinagar. The objective of the awareness programme was to sensitize the stakeholders, especially staff, legal professionals, and para legal volunteers, about the core aspects of the POSH Act, including preventive measures, complaint redressal mechanism, and the importance of a safe and inclusive workplace. The programme was held under the chairmanship of Tasleem Arief, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, and under the supervision of Sajad Ur Rehman, Sub-Judge/Secretary, DLSA Srinagar.
