Early Times Report POONCH, May 26: In a continued effort to empower youth and strengthen civil-military relations, the Indian Army conducted a focused training session for 12 Agniveer aspirants at Tota Gali, Poonch District. The session commenced with a mock academic test to evaluate the candidates' readiness, followed by physical conditioning exercises designed to assess fitness levels. The training further included hands-on familiarization with Indian Army weapons and equipment, alongside an orientation on the lifestyle and responsibilities within the Armed Forces. Medical documentation was carried out, recording vital statistics of all participants to ensure fitness standards. An interactive session was held to clarify recruitment procedures and provide guidance for aspirants, with assurances of continued support throughout their preparation journey. The program also featured discussions on the local security situation post-Operation Sindoor, emphasizing humanitarian assistance commitments to families and communities in times of need.
