UDHAMPUR, May 27: District Administration Udhampur, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, conducted special Gram Sabhas and awareness activities in different Panchayats of the district as part of the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan.
The special Gram Sabhas were organized with the twin objective of finalizing development plans and sensitizing the tribal population about various government schemes and welfare programmes.
Gram Sabhas were held in several Panchayats, including Rasli Gaderan, Dudu-Basantgarh, Mandlote Panchayat Pachote of Block Chenani and Chapper-A Panchayat Block Latti-Marothi etc.
During the Gram Sabhas, locals put forth several developmental demands and issues, seeking their redressal on a priority basis. |
