Induction programme organizes for the students of LSC 12123,

JAMMU, May 28: Induction program for freshly enrolled learners of January 2025 admission cycle associated with Learner Support Centre of IGNOU (Code: 12123), operating from the Govt. College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu. The programme was organized for the learners of all programmes who have chosen LSC 12123 as their Centre for support services. The Induction meeting was conducted in the Auditorium of GCW Parade, Jammu today in face to face mode. Around 200 students of various disciplines and programmes, including the learners of M.Sc. Environment Science, participated in the program.
This is the only Study Centre in the entire Jammu region where M.Sc. Environment Science (MSCENV) programme is activated for support services to the learners. Dr. Balbir Kumar, Coordinator of the LSC 12123, Assistant Coordinators, Academic Counsellors of various programmes and staff of the Study Centre were present on the occasion. A team of Academics from the Regional Centre Jammu comprising Assistant Regional Directors, Dr. Asha Upadhyay, Dr. Vikram Singh and Dr. Zeba under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director were present in the program as Resource Persons.
An interactive session was conducted with Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director of IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu, along with Dr. Vikram Singh, Dr. Asha Upadhyay and Dr. Zeba, Assistant Regional Directors. The session provided learners with insights into the academic programs, assignment submission procedures, re-registration, Term End Examination schedules, and other essential academic activities. Learners actively participated, raising queries related to study materials, counselling sessions, and examination processes, which were addressed by the resource persons.
