Manjit Singh, along with party colleagues, visits border areas in Samba | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 28: Apni Party Provincial President for Jammu, Manjit Singh, on Wednesday led a delegation of party leaders to the Ramgarh area in Samba district to assess the issues faced by the local residents. According to a press release issued here, the residents in the Ramgarh area (Block Ramgarh and Panchayat Nanga) informed Apni Party leaders that, in view of the recent cross-border shelling, they feel insecure due to the absence of security bunkers. They also complained that the PDD is sending them power bills without providing power supply. Also, they highlighted several other challenges affecting their daily lives. Manjit Singh assured the residents that he would bring their demands to the attention of the concerned officials and ensure prompt redressal of their issues. He urged the government to provide individual family bunkers to these border residents. He said that those who own land should provide their personal land for building these bunkers, while those who do not own any land should be provided land by the government for their construction.
