| Bovine smuggling attempt foiled, 13 Bovines Rescued,vehicle seized | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 28: Police team of Police Post Tikri led by its ICPP while performing vehicle checking duty at Tikri Naka point signalled to stop one vehicle (Truck) bearing regd. No. JK02BS6977 for checking purposes. Upon checking, 13 Bovines were found tied cruelly inside the vehicle. All the bovines were rescued and shifted to a safer place. Accused driver namely Mohd. Rafi S/O Mohd. Bashir R/O Zero Morh Talwara has been arrested on spot. In this regard, case FIR No. 71/2025 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Rehambal.
Further investigation of the case is underway. |
