5/28/2025 10:04:47 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 28: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta has commended the Border Security Force (BSF) for its decisive action under "Operation Sindoor" and the subsequent naming of a forward post as "Sindoor" to honor the bravery and sacrifice of its personnel.
Speaking at the meeting held at Party Headquarters in Jammu today, the senior BJP leader stated, "The Operation Sindoor stands as a testament to India's unwavering commitment to safeguarding its borders and responding decisively to threats. Naming a forward post as 'Sindoor' is a poignant tribute to our bravehearts, ensuring their sacrifices are eternally remembered."
Kavinder said that the naming of the forward post as "Sindoor" serves as a lasting tribute to the courage and dedication of BSF personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty. He emphasized, "This gesture not only honors our martyrs but also reinforces the nation's resolve to stand united against terrorism."
The senior BJP leader also acknowledged the BSF's ongoing efforts to maintain heightened vigilance along the International Border. He noted that the force's robust surveillance systems and readiness to counter infiltration attempts are crucial in ensuring national security.
"The BSF's proactive measures and unwavering commitment to duty are commendable. Their actions under Operation Sindoor have sent a clear message that India will not tolerate any threats to its sovereignty," he added.
The former Deputy Chief Minister urged the people of J&K to support the armed forces and remain vigilant.
