| Reasi police nabs notorious offender with sharp-edged weapon | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, May 29: Continuing its relentless crackdown on anti-social elements, Reasi Police apprehended a notorious individual during routine patrolling and frisking. The accused, identified as Bablu Sharma S/O Des Raj R/O Akhnoor, District Jammu, was found in possession of a sharp-edged weapon (Toka).
Acting swiftly on the recovery, Police registered FIR No. 153/2025 U/S 4/25 Arms Act at Police Station Katra. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
Bablu Sharma has previously been involved in multiple serious criminal cases, including FIR No. 32/2020 under sections 307/341/323/147/382/125 IPC, FIR No. 03/2023 under sections 8/21/22 of NDPS Act and FIR No. 199/2024 under sections 109/191(2) BNS & 4/25 Arms Act. All the aforementioned cases have already been challaned before the Hon'ble Court of Law.
The whole operation led by SHO P/S Katra Insp. Khyatimaan Khajuria under the supervision of SDPO Katra Dr. Bhishm Dubey, JKPS and SP Katra Vipan Chandran-JKPS.
