Desh Bhakt” BJP’s act of criticizing IAF highly deplorable, says Advocate Mohinder
5/29/2025 10:55:54 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, May 29: It is appalling that a BJP MLA Mr R S Pathania has singularly targeted and blamed the prestigious Indian Air Force for Pakistan’s recent acts of incursions into the India territory which the Indian Army, Air Force, Navy and paramilitary forces had not only had not only effectively repulsed but gave a befitting reply by destroying terrorist camps and Pakistan Air Force’s installations.
Reacting to the deplorable statement of BJP MLA, Senior Congress leader Advocate Mohinder Bhardwaj said it is highly deplorable that an elected representative of people belonging to a party which wears patriotism on its sleeves and unabashedly uses it for political purposes, has chosen to hit the very armed forces who have a glorious track-record, over the decades, of defending the nation. The Congress criticizes this remark with all our might, which is derogatory to the Indian Air Force and questions the capability and capacity of one of the best and finest Air Forces of the world to defend the nation’s skies. It has hurt the sentiments of the nationalist people of the country and Jammu and Kashmir who have always stood by and lauded the bravery of the armed forces.
I ask a question: Does Prime Minister agree with the blasphemous views of his legislator who is also his party’s spokesperson? It seems Mr Pathania uttered baseless an

disrespectful words and undermined the bravery of the Indian Airforce as part of a well-thought of a well-planned conspiracy of the BJP and is meant to hide their own failures, he further said.
It is unthinkable and condemnable beyond words that a spokesperson/legislator of BJP what he has described the IAF. This description befits only his own party. The terrorist attack in Pahalgam was a collective failure of the BJP’s top leadership. And the fact that the terrorists are still at large weeks after the incident gives credence to Mr Pathania’s statement.
How deplorable of Mr Pathania to have dared to falsely blame the Air Force personnel at the Udhampur Air Force station. He is nobody to talk about our security forces and their operational capabilities. Our armed security forces and their operational capabilities are par excellence and outstanding which have been all along appreciated by the people of the country. On the contrary our armed forces were not only alert but had the upper hand all through the operations, causing immense damage to Pakistan’s security establishments.
We demand that the BJP should stop politicizing “Operation Sindoor” and take immediate disciplinary action against Mr Pathania, and a case of treason should be registered against. “Attacking the IAF is nothing short of treason and desh-droh”, Mr Bhardwaj further observed.
