| SPO arrested for drug peddling, heroin recovered by Udhampur police | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 4: Police Team of Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO while performing Patrolling/checking duty near Phangyal area of Udhampur town intercepted one suspicious person, who on seeing police party tried to escape from the spot but was apprehended by the police party. On the frisking of said apprehended person namely Vishal Singh (SPO posted at DPL Udhampur) S/O Jagdish Singh R/O Shakti Nagar Udhampur. The police team recovered 5.64 grams of Heroin like contraband substance from the above said accused person who has been arrested on the spot.
In this regard, A Case FIR No. 198/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS Udhampur.
Further investigation of the case is underway. |
