| KC College of Education celebrated World Environment Day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 5: On 5th June, 2025, theme based activity was held on the occasion of 'World Environment Day'. The Environmental club and NSS unit of the college organized a Plantation cum Beautification Drive in the college premises. The activity was based on the theme 'Connecting with Nature' considering the manifold benefits of Mother Nature and planting trees.
The students of semester 2nd participated in the activity, where in first of all they prepared the area for plants to be planted. Club members and NSS volunteers planted trees and later beautified the area by fixing labeled plates for plants and making small fences around the planted plants. Both the students and the faculty participated in the drive with zeal and enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college Dr. Sanjay Tickoo highlighted the importance of such activities and appreciated the efforts of the club for organizing such environmental activities. The whole programme was convened by Dr. Puja Sharma, Convenor of Environmental Club. |
