Early Times Report JAMMU, June 5: Jammu Airport today marked World Environment Day with a solemn pledge and a vibrant tree plantation drive, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability. Staff members gathered to take a collective pledge, vowing to protect and preserve the environment for future generations, followed by the planting of various saplings within the airport premises. This initiative contributes to the green cover and enhances the ecological balance of the region. The event was led by Airport Director Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Garg, who appreciated the active participation of staff members and emphasized the importance of individual and collective responsibility in preserving nature. Sh. Sunil Kumar Raghuwanshi, Sr. Commandant CISF, was also present on the occasion and joined in the plantation drive, highlighting CISF's continued support in environmental and community welfare initiatives.
