| CBC Jammu celebrates World Environment Day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 5: World Environment Day Celebrated at CBC Office with Plantation Drive. On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) organized a plantation drive in the office premises to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
The event was led by the Shri Ghulam Abbas, Director, CBC, in the esteemed presence of the Ms. Ayushi Puri, Deputy Director, Shri Ashwani Kumar Gupta Senior Accounts Officer, and enthusiastic participation of all staff members. Sapling of environmentally a Mango tree was planted within the office premises to mark the occasion.
In his message, the Director highlighted the significance of environmental protection and sustainable development. He encouraged all employees to adopt eco-friendly habits in both professional and personal spheres, emphasizing that collective efforts can contribute meaningfully towards a greener future.
The plantation drive was conducted in line with the theme of World Environment Day 2025 - "Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience", and reflects the CBC's commitment to environmental stewardship and green workplace initiatives.
The event concluded with a collective pledge by all officials and staff members to uphold and promote environmental values throughout the year. |
