Investiture ceremony marks new chapter for student leaders at SIPS

JAMMU, June 7: The Investiture Ceremony at Stephens International Public School marked a momentous occasion, ushering in a new era of leadership and responsibility among its student body. The event was distinguished by the presence of esteemed guests, including Sh. Kuldeep Khoda, Former Director General of Police and Advocate Nirmal Kishore Kotwal, President Jammu and Kashmir Bar Association accompanied by Advocate Rahul Aggarwal, Treasurer Jammu and Kashmir Bar Association. They were joined by Dr. Kamal Saini, IGP (Retd.) Chairman, Mrs. Satvinder Saini Director, and Advocate Kunal Saini, Trustee of the school.
Dr. Kamal Saini extended his gratitude to the guests as well as parents for their benign presence and unwavering support to the school management.
During the ceremony, Dr. Manjari Sehgal, Principal formally inducted the newly elected Student Council members into their roles. The students, comprising the Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Head Boy, Vice Head Girl, Discipline Captain, Sports Captain, Cultural Captain, and House Prefects, took their oaths of office, pledging to uphold the values and principles of the institution.
The investiture ritual was symbolized by the presentation of badges and sashes to the student leaders by the dignitaries, signifying their new responsibilities and authority. The ceremony was interspersed with captivating performances, including classical dance and recitals, showcasing the artistic prowess of the students.
The occasion also witnessed the release of "Illumination," the school's annual magazine for the academic session 2024-25. Advocate Kunal Saini, Trustee of the school, expressed his gratitude to the guests, parents, and attendees for their presence. He encouraged the students to set goals and work assiduously towards achieving them, thereby making a positive impact in society.
Later an open house discussion was initiated to make the students aware of the vitality of leadership. Students optimized the interaction with their queries, which were aptly addressed by the learned guests.
The ceremony concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, fostering a sense of unity and patriotism among the attendees. The dignitaries were felicitated with mementos and gifts, serving as a token of appreciation for their presence. The event underscored the school's commitment to nurturing leadership qualities and empowering its students to excel in various spheres of life.
