Early Times Report KATRA, June 11: Harish Patel, a committed volunteer from the NSS unit of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, Jammu & Kashmir, participated in the prestigious Global Youth Summit 2025 held in Mangalore. Organised by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Government of Karnataka, in association with the NSS Cell Karnataka, the three-day summit served as a transformative platform for youth leadership and international collaboration.The summit brought together outstanding youth representatives from over 20 Indian states and 10 countries, with a focus on fostering intercultural understanding, sustainable development, and youth empowerment. Delegates engaged in a series of workshops, discussions, and cultural exchanges centered around the theme of "Youth and Global Harmony."Highlights of the summit included expert-led sessions on peacebuilding, climate action, entrepreneurship, and the role of youth in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The event also provided opportunities for delegates to interact with international peers and thought leaders, encouraging dialogue across borders and ideologies.Harish Patel's presence at the summit stands as a proud achievement for SMVDU and NSS SMVDU, reinforcing the importance of youth in shaping an inclusive global future.
