JKTJAC meets CEO Udhampur, raises burning issues

JAMMU, June 11: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers'Joint Action Committee ( JKTJAC) led by UT President Vinod Sharma and District President Udhampur Lekh Raj Parihar called on Chief Education Officer Udhampur K.K. Badyal in his Office Chamber today on 11.06.2025 .
While interacting with the CEO, Mr Vinod Sharma highlighted the burning issues of the teaching fraternity of District Udhampur which include:-
Updating of service books of the teachers of of zone Ghordi as many DDOs who have either transferred or retired have not completed the same,
Release of 6 to 7 months Mid Day Meals dues which the teachers have managed from their own pockets,
Provision of 2nd teacher in single teacher primary schools,
Release of DA arrears of the teachers of zone Tikri,
Release of carriage charges under Mid Day Meals so that teachers not have any problem for the transportation of rice,
Earned leave in favour of teachers engaged during summer camps.
While interacting Lekh Raj Parihar demanded the Issuance of post facto permission in favour of teachers who have done their graduation. He also highlighted the issue of engagement of Aayas in schools where enrollment is more than 5 .
Chief Education Officer Udhampur listened the deputation quite patiently and assured to redress each and every issue raised by the JKTJAC leadership.
