KATRA, June 11: In a deeply moving testament to what faith, compassion, and vision can achieve, three more children with severe hearing impairment were given the gift of sound at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH), Kakryal. All three surgeries were successfully performed by Dr. Rohan Gupta, ENT & Cochlear Implant Surgeon at SMVDNSH, whose expertise continues to bring world-class care to the region. Among the children operated today, one was diagnosed with IP-I (Incomplete Partition Type I) cochlear anomaly - a rare and complex inner ear deformity that poses significant surgical risk.
