Jammu, June 11: DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Sh. Shiv Kumar Sharma, IPS, conducted a surprise inspection of Police Post Chinore, accompanied by SP Rural Jammu and SHO Domana.
During the visit, DIG JSK Range reviewed the overall crime scenario and functioning of the Police Post. He emphasized the importance of enhanced night patrolling, installation of CCTV cameras at all major chowks, and strict maintenance of Beat Books to ensure efficient policing and community safety.
He also issued necessary instructions and preparedness guidelines in view of the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY), stressing the importance of vigilance, coordination, and proactive policing during the yatra period. |
