Two day Mela concludes at Bawa Bhair Devsathan

JAMMU, June 11: Two day Ancient Bawa Bhair Mela concluded at its devsathan in Block Nagrota on Wednesday evening. The Mela was organized by the Bawa Bhair devsathañ Trust.
Earlier Mela was inaugurated by Former DC B.S. Jamwal in the presence of NMC President Subash Shastri, DBPS Chairman Advocate P. C.Sharma, Trust President Balwant Singh, General Secretary Ramesh Sharma, Om Parkash Sharma, Kirpal Singh, Gurdas Sharma, Subash Sharma, Ritiz Khajuria and representatives of various religious, social organizations were also present on the occasion. A hawan was also performed by various scholars alongwith chela of Bawa jee joginder singh chanting vedic Mantras.
Several langers were also held in the premises of the devsathañ.Bawa jee chelas of various parts of the country performed a ceremonial yatar at shrine.
Thousands of pilgrims from different parts of the country participated in the Mela and sought the blessings of Bawa Bhairdev jee.
several pilgrims have expressed concern over the non availability of clean drinking water apart from pathetic condition of road leading to the devsathañ Bawa Bhairdev jee,so though trust has appealed to concerned to immediately sanction proposal for construction of road under PMGSY .
