Early Times Report POONCH, June 16: In a significant initiative to empower the local youth and guide them towards a career in the Indian Armed Forces, the Ace of Spades Gunner unit organised Operation 'Pehla Kadam' a rigorous pre-recruitment training programme for aspiring Agniveers in Mendhar. This transformative programme aims to bridge the gap between aspiration and achievement by preparing young men physically and mentally for the challenges of the Indian Army's recruitment process under the Agnipath Scheme. Under the mentorship of experienced Army instructors, participants underwent structured training sessions, including endurance runs, obstacle courses, drill practices, and motivational interactions. The programme received an overwhelming response from the local youth, reflecting their enthusiasm and patriotism.
