Early Times Report JAMMU, June 16: Jodhamal Public School successfully concluded its much-awaited two weeks Summer Camp, Oasis'25, leaving behind a trail of joy, creativity, and holistic development. The camp witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 150 students who immersed themselves in a wide range of skill-based and recreational activities. The finale of the camp was marked by a vibrant and colourful Valedictory Ceremony where students showcased their newly acquired talents in the presence of their proud parents.The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. This was followed by the welcome address delivered by Vice Principal Mrs. Amita Arora, who warmly greeted the guests and applauded the efforts of the students and mentors. Students gave an energetic Casio performance that was both harmonious and entertaining. A thought-provoking skit titled "The Plastic Predicament" was presented, sending a strong message about environmental conservation and responsible living. Another highlight of the day was the creative and humorous play "The Magical Market", which enthralled the audience with its imagination and spirited performances. The dramatics and communication segments truly brought out the expressive and confident side of the young learners. Dance performances, choreographed with passion and precision, lit up the stage and received enthusiastic applause. One of the most memorable features of Oasis'25 was the Fireless Cooking activity, where the young "Master Chefs" prepared delicious and nutritious recipes. Complementing this was a vibrant Art & Craft Exhibition, where beautifully handcrafted artefacts made by the students were proudly displayed for parents and visitors to admire. The camp was thoughtfully designed to provide each participant with exposure to both one sport and one co-curricular activity, ensuring a balanced and enriching experience. Students were guided by an experienced and passionate team of mentors who ensured every child received personalized attention and encouragement. From classical music and dance to sports and dramatics, each session was carefully planned to ignite interest and build skills. The overall coordination of Oasis'25 was seamlessly managed by Ms. Deepali Puri, CCA Coordinator (Junior School), who also extended the formal vote of thanks at the end of the event. All students were awarded Certificates of Appreciation to recognize their enthusiasm, dedication, and growth over the course of the camp. The program concluded with group photographs and a resounding sense of pride and celebration. Parents expressed heartfelt appreciation for the school's initiative, noting how their children had transformed into more confident, expressive, and socially aware individuals.
